Ali Aldabbagh : Baghdad Meeting includes P5+1 and Iran to be held in Baghdad on 23rd May 2012

 

The Republic of Iraq is to host the second round negotiations regarding Iran’s nuclear program within the meeting of P(5+1) next May 23rd, with a delegation representing ( United states of America, Russia, China, France, United Kingdom, Germany). The Meeting will be held in Baghdad, headed by Catherine Ashton, the European Union High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy, and the counterpart would be headed by Saeed Jalali, the Secretary of Iran's Supreme National Security Council.

Journalists and media willing to cover the activities of this event are able to apply a request of attendance attached with (a photograph and copy of passport) to be sent no later than 15 may 2012 to the following e-mail : p5.1@goi-s.com

Important Note:

Kindly inform your need of entry visa to Iraq.

Journalists and media that would send their required documents and information within the specified period would be informed of the approval or the procedures of granting visa (if requested) by e-mail. Kindly provide the required documents (ID & Passport) while entering the conference centre of the event aforementioned.

 

Announcement

          We would like to inform all press agencies and journalists willing to participate in the events of the Arab Summit which is to be held in Baghdad for the period 27-29 / March/ 2012, the ability to obtain entry visa by visiting the Arab Summit website                                 (www.arabsummit.iq), which contains application forms for accrediting journalists abroad, these applications should be filled and sent to the two following e-mail addresses :

(mofasum2@mofaml.gov.iq) and (info@arabsummit.iq)

 

Note: Requests sent to only one of the e-mail addresses would be neglected   

Furthermore, and for the purpose of organizing arrivals and bookings for press delegations:

1-    Press delegations are exempted from visa entry fees.

2-    The charge for each room per night is (250 US dollars) for the following Hotels :

-         Palestine Meridian Hotel

-         Baghdad Hotel

-         Melia Man sour Hotel

-         Babylon Hotel

3-    Prices for private hotels would be arranged between parties involved.
